Does anyone know where we are sleeping?

10 minutes into the journey and I receive a text from someone in Coach 1 to say that Disney has no booking in our name - check in happens on the train with a Disney Cast Member (employee to you and me). Imagine how happy I was to receive this news. So, up I got and walked from Coach 18 to Coach 5 before I encountered a Disney person. Thankfully she had a list of our names so I was able to say which coach everyone was in - phew, glad I took that information with me. My work as a holiday Rep was beginning to have its uses now! However, we were booked in to the Hotel Cheyenne(2 star) and not the Newport Bay(3 star) as we were expecting. A conversation with Disney in Paris confirmed this and many conversations with the Tour company in the UK made me realise that Disney had totally messed up our upgrade and communications between various departments were non-existant. So my first journey on Eurostar was a blur and our rooms were only finally confirmed about 8 minutes from Marne La Vallee station. I also discovered that it is a very LONG train!!! Who needs a treadmill?!
It was now a case of having to tell everyone that our upgrade wasn't going to happen. Luggage check in at the Disney Express Desk was relatively straight forward and everyone was very accepting of the change of Hotel. Thank Goodness.
