You've seen the movie and got the toy from McDonalds, well we did the real thing this afternoon! Met the Robinsons...
We avidly followed the arrivals board at Auckland International Airport for a Pacific Blue flight from Brisbane and were rewarded with their flight arriving on time. We installed ourselves in the arrival hall in a prime spot and had our Meet the Robinsons banner to greet them as the door from immigration opened.
It was so good to see them and they were presented with a lei each a la Hawaii which had been hastily purchased a few minutes earlier! They did of course look very silly!!!
We moved towards the exit door to be greeted by a lady from the Goodtime Limousine company and told the children that their transport to the hotel was to be a limo...they were gobsmacked. It was so cool to travel in style and we felt very important!
Unfortunately the computer in this hotel(City Central, Auckland) has a card reader on it but it doesnt work so still no photos....is it a result of travelling with the Jinxes??? The one across the road does however so will check that out tomorrow if time allows.
Had a walk down Queen Street Auckland, the main road and found a restaurant for tea.
Continue to be shattered but hope a good nights sleep tonight will cure!
Off to the Sky tower tomorrow...more soon... Night night!
