Heading for a breakdown...

Just had 3 fantastic days at Disneyland Paris as organised for 16 families from Oakwood by WorleyTours plc. The journey went so smoothly this time and Eurostar was just the biz. The Disney Express service really was just that, meaning our cases went on to the hotel while we went and joined the population of Holland, France and the UK in the queues for the popular rides.

So it was into the Studios and we headed for the Aerosmith ride, sorry ,WE did not include ME! I don't do 'upside down and fast' so opted for the 'cafe au lait' ride instead. Sadly, breakdown No. 1 after an hour and a half of waiting did not do much for Disney customer relations. We were to hear the words 'problemes techniques' rather a lot over the next few days, with breakdowns in Big Thunder mountain, Crush's Coaster,Buzz Lightyear,Tower of Terror, Indiana Jones,Tram tour and others. Only being there for a short time, these long queues and breakdowns were very irritating.

Crush's Coaster is a new ride in the Studios Park which is a cross between the tea cup ride and Thunder Mountain in a Nemo theme and in the dark.We had a long wait (nearly 2 hours) to get in the ride as it kept breaking down which was a little unnerving. The wait was worth it tho' I did think death was imminent when I couldn't see where the track was going at one point tho my stomach realised where we had gone afterwards!

We did manage lots of other rides and shows and as always, the magic of Disney won through. It is just amazing how you lose yourself for 3 days in total fantasy, being excited at seeing people dressed as mice and dogs! The credit crunch and work/school worries are put on a backburner so you can have FUN.

A great family time (our 10th visit and definitely not our last!).

Plenty of 'yee-has' at Buffalo Bill's show
