This was the reopening of MFI Southampton as it moved to Shirley from St Mary's in 1985. I worked on the cash desk at the time after a stint as a kitchen and bedroom planner! I am second from left and yes, that is Ken Barlow!
Just moved to Duxford,Cambridge, aged 13! Cambridge High School for girls..a lovely bottle green uniform!
My 17th Birthday party-we went to a Barn Dance. Oh we lived it up in those days! Long dresses were in. L to R Joanne,Me,Sian,Emma,Liz and Helen. Am still in contact with Joanne(see Sound of Music) but would love to know what happened to the others... I bet they don't lead such a hectic social life now!!
