It's a hoot,hoot...

Deciding that today was probably going to be the only day of half term without the wet stuff falling from the sky, Dan,Cam and I went to Paulton's Park. It was a hoot..well the cost was. No child prices, not very impressed!Hadn't been for about 5 years and the prices had certainly gone up! Anyway the boys were advised that this was half term's one and only treat and not to nag for extras!
Armed with my bottle of water and a Daily Mirror, I took up my position on the bench and waited while they did the Cobra, a rollercoaster type ride, tame by Disney and other theme park standards, but it was wild enough for me to give my excuses. Still, the boys seemed quite happy to go on their own. I did feel the need to join them on the log flume though and they were most pleased that I left the ride absolutely soaked! Great fun!

They loved the climbing wall and were quite good at it too...good practice for New Zealand.

A great day and I was pleased because the meerkats were really cute and played to the camera.

It was the end of the second week of Lighterlife tonight and my weigh-in showed that I had stayed the same since Saturday. Initially disappointed, but I was weighed in the morning on Saturday and the evening today which makes a difference. My disappointment soon changed - I have in fact lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks which is an amazing loss and far more than I could ever have wished for when I first started. I feel different already and people are noticing that I have lost weight too, which is very encouraging.
The programme is not getting any easier. I am finding the drinks and soups quite disgusting at times but know I have to continue, so I do. Here goes for a successful week this week..will keep you posted!
