Great news on our return from Ibiza as an answerphone message informed me I was a winner in a competition and the prize was a Nintendo Wii...
At first I thought it was a practical joke from Jane(my sister) as we had wound her up earlier in the year texting her saying she had reached the second round in an REM radio competition which she totally believed. However, when I rang Solent University(sorry it will always be a college of Higher Education to me as I had lectures there as part of my LSU degree) today I discovered the prize was totally 'fono bidet' (Victoria Wood speak) and was asked to collect it! The competition had been in a supplement in the Echo I seem to remember, just answering a simple question - it must have been simple for me! Just shows you have to be in it to win it!
The boys were obviously mega excited and I was well chuffed as we were intending to get one at Christmas.
....A few days later and the Wii has hardly been off...I am addicted to tennis and the boys just addicted to everything! It is great fun and I just can't believe how lucky we are.
