In good old British tradition it is necessary to wake at the crack of dawn to go put towels on
sunbeds if you want the best places by the pool. Some people get irritated by this...we just see it as part of the holiday and a bit of fun really. Most of the time we had to be up before the sunrise to stake our place which gave us a chance to see this spectacle on a couple of occasions...
The beach was empty apart from a few revellers returning home from a night of partying, oh and a nudist bather too who really wasn't bothered that I was stood there with my camera!!! I didn't take any photos though to save embarrassment !
The sunrise was beautiful and so peaceful, with the just sound of waves lapping on the beach. All that was missing were the swans as in NZ!
