Like many things that children want to do, if they nag enough, so often they get what they want just for a bit of peace! This was a bit the case this afternoon as Daniel and Cameron were desperate to go to the temporary ice skating rink in front of the Civic Centre. Skating hasn't been an activity that they have experienced yet and so in true mum style i gave in and took them down, hoping that there wouldn't be any slots free.(Incidentally I had no intention of skating anyway as I wanted to keep my knees as intact as possible, altho always loved it as a child).
Weel, as luck would have it, there was a session available within half an hour so we took it and out came Mum's camera.
I have to say that the organistion of the rink was excellent and it was much bigger than I expected it to be, though we did have to pay peak rates, it not being school term time and all that.
The boys did everso well and didn't fall at all...

Cool!!! Well, cold probably! When I watched the video, my girls were watching Mamma Mia on video and so I could hear 'Dancing Queen' in stereo! Looks like you had great fun!
