Let's start celebrating...

With that milestone birthday just a week away it was time to start the celebrations with a meal out with friends. I chose to go to Eastleigh College's Red Carpet restaurant (not knowing at the time of booking that Daniel was on waiting duty!!) for their 4 course meal.

We were the only booking for the restaurant - a bit worrying really...was there something we didn't know??!!

Anyway, we had a lovely meal, served most efficiently by a very nervous Daniel and his fellow students. It was brilliant being the only customers! The pear and roquefort salad was delicious as were, of course, the profiteroles, especially with the extra chocolate sauce.



I had a great evening with a fab group of friends.
