Puzzled

By Tuesday, we had muscles we never knew we had so took a break from the walking and just had a wander around Keswick. Our apartment couldn't have been closer to the centre which was so good - especially as it was two minutes from Friars of Keswick, a wonderful chocolate,fudge and sweet shop(just opened an on-line shop,oh dear).

Daniel chose to remain in bed, while Rob,Cameron and I went to Puzzling Place - it was based on the one in Wanaka, New Zealand, which we visited,tho MUCH smaller and all indoors. It was still fun to see the special effects,illusions and puzzles, but it didn't take long to go around it!

Rob and Cam also went to the Cars of the Stars museum, but sadly photos weren't allowed...but the title of the Museum gives you an idea of what they saw!! Click on the link and it will save you the admission fee next time you go to Keswick!!

We also had a trip down memory lane as we drove over to Penrith, where we used to stay. we wanted to drive past the old house - it all looked the same, with the 'Rec' at the end of the road still there too. It was sad that we no longer had a connection to the area, though it will always be like a second home. When we have visited in the past, we have judged stalls at the carnival and Dad used to do the Dog Show too!
