Not a puppet in sight and hardly any people either. This place was bleak, in the middle of nowhere on the way to Mt Cook. It is a hydro town that was only built in 1968. The area is very dry and flat compared to the wet west coast.It did give us a chance to sample another hot chocolate and carrot cake though, with Cameron joining in the hot choc tasting too!
