We have touch down....

3 very excited, tired people queued for immigration and luggage and made their way through the Arrivals Hall. Our journey from Nelson had taken 4 flights and 36 hours. We were all so looking forward to seeing Rob and sharing our experiences with him. We soon spotted him as held a banner with 'Wobley' on it! He was a bit miffed as the person stood next to him had 'Ulrika Johnson' on his banner, but she didn't show!!!

The journey to Southampton was strange as we were suddenly back into civilisation, so many cars and people. And of course a traffic jam on the M25. I didn't like it and wanted to be back in New Zealand! However it was great to see Rob and we soon arrived back home - thanks Hilary for the banner in the garden!!

While we had been away, Rob had papered and painted the sitting room, hall, stairs and landing. It looked fantastic....the whole house was so tidy and clean....and now we were back to mess it up!!

Although I was tired, I was on a high and just wanted to look at photos of our trip and read this blog for the memories! Cameron, on the other hand, just couldn't stay awake and within about half an hour of arriving home had fallen asleep on the floor....

Our adventure to New Zealand was over. It had been an experience of a lifetime seeing so many new places and doing so much in 5 weeks. So many highlights. We will talk about it for a long time and recommend the country to everyone.
It had been so good to meet up with the family and share their lifestyle for a short while...a lifestyle the boys and I would like to experience again so I had better start saving now!!
Thank you to everyone for making our trip possible....
.....to Claire, Kevin, Grace and Anna for sharing the first part of our holiday and all the laughs we had
.....to Val and Rich for putting us up and showing us so much of NZ
.....and of course to Rob for letting me have such a wonderful experience with Daniel and Cameron and for decorating too!!
Now I just need a lottery win to fund the next visit!
